If you are in a hurry and wish to cook something of low complexity but also tasty at the same time I consider spaghetti with tuna and tomatoes the best choice!

Ingredients:

  • 250 g spaghetti
  • 1 canned tuna (200 g)
  • 7-8 cherry tomatoes
  • a half of chili pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 7-8 black olives
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of dried Basil or a handful of chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 60-70 g of cheese or Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • salt and pepper
  • a few leaves of parsley to decorate

Preparation:

  • Boil the spaghetti according to the instructions on the pack.

I normally place one tablespoon of salt in 1 liter of water and wait for it to boil and only after that I add the spaghetti.

  • Meanwhile add 3 spoons of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Mince the garlic and chili and then add them to the olive oil. Stir often.
  • When the garlic begins to darken in color, add the cherry tomatoes cut into quarters and a teaspoon of Basil. Stir for about 1-2 minutes, then add the drained tuna (if the tuna is large chunks, chop it up a bit), juice from a lemon and the olives.
  • Stir them for about 1-2 minutes, during which you add the salt and pepper to taste.
  • When the spaghetti is cooked, drain the water and add the fish sauce. Mix well and add salt and pepper, if necessary.

Optionally, you can add cheese or Parmesan over the pasta, directly into the plate.

You can also decorate it with parsley leaves.
