Cherry tomato pudding with ham and bread

 

 

A special dish which will surely attract the attention of your friends when you serve it. It has a great composition, and when you eat it feels soft and scrumptious! It took me approximately 50 minutes to cook and the ingredients I used are for 4 servings.

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 25 g of soft butter
  • 1 clove of garlic, mashed
  • 4 slices of white bread, preferably older than two days
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 50 g of bacon, cut into stripes
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 g of grated Cheddar cheese

 

Preparation:

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Mix the garlic with the butter. Grease the surface of a pan with the butter. Spread the rest of the butter on the surface of the slices of bread, which were cut in a diagonal.
  • Lay the slices of bread in the baking pan, so that they slightly overlap. Place the cherry tomatoes and ham among them.
  • Mix the milk with the eggs, and add salt and pepper to taste. Pour the composition over the bread slices and press them gently into the liquid. Let the composition to stand for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the cheese on top, and then bake for 35-40 minutes, until the pudding gets golden.

 

You can serve this dish with salad.
